Family Ministries

Soft Spot is professional childcare provided for each worship service. Soft Spot is available 15 minutes prior to each service.

This age group meets on Sunday at 10am in age-appropriate small groups for a time of God’s word. Praisen’tations music program also takes place during this time. Through this ministry children master the foundational concepts of rhythm, melody and singing skills as they memorize scripture and biblical concepts.  Praisen’tations sings on a quarterly basis.

K5 - 3rd Grade

KidzQuest convenes on Sunday morning (10am) in a combination of small group setting and high-energy service format.  A rockin’ time of worship and praise is heard and the Bible lesson won’t leave you asleep in your seat! KidzQuest always wraps up their service with games and prizes. KidzQuest Choir is another aspect of this high energy ministry that performs monthly in the main auditorium. This group also has a yearly summer camp.

StrongTower Student Ministries is the umbrella student ministry of FAC. StrongTower consists of three groups:

•Junior High

•Senior High

•Young Adult

Each week students experience a combination of worship, games, a challenging talk, and interaction with a small group during their Sunday 10am meeting. Our Sunday AM student community is known as Chapter 29. StrongTower offers many outreach opportunities such as community events, StrongTower Youth Camp, and National Youth Convention.

FAC’s Homebuilders, is designed for people in their 20’s–40’s. During these years most people are establishing their homes and raising families. Events range from fellowship outings, outreaches, and mini-topic series. We also enjoy a dynamic marriage retreat held in the heart of the Smoky Mountains each year. Just Married is a division under Homebuilders for couples married less than seven years.

Trendsetters is an active group for age 50 and up. We engage in day trips to local attractions in Tennessee and surrounding areas. This group has one major extended stay bus trip to destinations such as our recent trips to Washington D.C. and Pennsylvania. The friendly family of FAC Trendsetters welcomes your participation.

Youth Ministry at First Apostolic Church in Maryville, TN,

First Apostolic Church offers Youth Ministry in Maryville, TN, designed to help young people grow in faith, build genuine friendships, and discover their purpose in a welcoming, family-friendly church environment.
